Kanye West announces free Fox Theatre show Friday night

Shortly after Kanye West wrapped up a daytime performance at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre Friday night, the Fox Theatre announced the superstar would perform there tonight.

Free tickets for the event are being distributed at Ticketmaster.com starting at 3:30 p.m. today, according to the website. 

A press release sent by 313Presents just minutes before the on-sale time stated that ticketholders are strongly encouraged to arrive early for the 8 p.m. concert. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

The concert, named "Jesus is King: A Kanye West Experience," is general admission and only mobile tickets will be accepted, no PDF files, ticket transfers or screenshot. Guest to the show will be given Yonder packs to put their phone and smart watches in for the duration of the concert.
