Actor, rapper Andre 3000 is spotted in Detroit
OutKast rapper and actor Andre 3000 was spotted in Detroit Tuesday night. Reports on social media place him at PJ’s Lager House in Corktown. The musician most recently starred as Jimi Hendrix in the U.K. biopic “All Is by My Side.”
Local couple are cast on upcoming ‘Survivor’
Miss Michigan USA for 2013, Jaclyn Schultz,and her college sweetheart, Jon Misch of Waterford, will be paired up as contestants on the new season of “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” which premiere Sept. 24 on CBS. This season of the reality competition show will pit 18 couples against each other. The teams are either dating, married, or related in some way.
‘Full House’ reunion rumors are buzzing
ABC sitcom “Full House” may be returning to television a new version of the show with some of the original cast intact, TV Guide reports. Actor John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) is spearheading the new series, and with with good reason, he has ownership stake in the show. TV Guide reports that executive producer Bob Boyette, creator Jeff Franklin, Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) are on board and Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) and St. Clair Shores native Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) are also said to be involved in some way.
■According to batman-news.com, the former Detroit Police Station will act as Gotham City Jail in the film “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” being filmed in Detroit.
■Neil Younghas filed for divorce from his wife, Pegi Young, according to E! News. They have been married for 37 years and have two grown children together.
■“Orange is the New Black” star Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen of “Portlandia” are dating, according to US Weekly. The pair attended Monday night’s Emmy Awards together.
■To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the “Friends” premiere, a Central Perk pop-up coffee shop is opening in New York City Sept. 17-Oct. 18. Central Perk was the name of the cafe the gang always hung out in.
