Justin Bieber to be roasted on Comedy Central

Fire up the coals! Justin Bieber will be the butt of the joke on his own terms in March when he'll get his own Comedy Central roast. TMZ says it's all the tattooed pop star's idea and that he approached the network with it as a way to celebrate his 21st birthday. The lineup of roasting comedians is to be announced.

Steve Martin and Martin Short, KKOTB, more coming

Steve Martin and Martin Short will have "A Very Stupid Conversation ... With Music" at Detroit's Fox Theatre on April 24, venue officials announced Tuesday. Tickets for the show, which will also feature a performance by Martin's Steep Canyon Rangers, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets are $49-$149. Short released his memoir "I Must Say: My Life as a Humble Comedy Legend" in November. Other big concerts announced this week are New Kids on the Block with TLC and Nelly at The Palace of Auburn Hills May 29. Tickets, $29.50-$92.50, go on sale 10 a.m. Jan. 31. MotleyCrue's "final tour" loops back to town for a third time on Aug. 9 at The Palace. Ticket details are TBA, but Alice Cooper is confirmed as the opener. Finally, "Weird Al" Yankovic will play Caesars Windsor June 26. Tickets start at $25 Canadian and go on sale 10 a.m. Jan. 30.
