Jack White to take a hiatus from live shows

To finish off his world tour in support of his second solo album “Lazaretto,” Jack White announced that he will perform a series of pop-up acoustic shows in the only five states that he has never performed in. (Billboard guesses those states are North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Vermont and maybe Puerto Rico.) The announcement, which was posted this week on his Third Man Records website, also reveals that White will be “taking a break from performing live for a long period of time.” The acoustic shows will be surprises. They will be announced the day of the show at 8 a.m., and tickets will be just $3 and limited to one ticket per person. Cash only.

Billionaire wife gets revenge on husband’s mistress

Los Angeles Superior Court ruled this week that V. Stiviano must give back community property she was given by former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling during their affair. Sterling’s wife Shelly Sterling sued the 32-year-old mistress, who is best known for recording a racially-offensive rant by Donald Sterling, which cost him and Shelly ownership of their basketball team. Stiviano was ordered to surrender a $1.8 million duplex, several luxury cars and $800,000. Stiviano’s lawyer said he would appeal the ruling.

Babies galore for Billy Joel, Theo Rossi and more

Billy Joel and his girlfriend Alexis Roderick are expecting their first child this summer. This will be his second child, her first. Joel has an adult daughter, Alexa Joel, 29, with his second wife Christie Brinkley. “Sons of Anarchy” actor Theo Rossi and wife Meghan McDermott are expecting in June as well. Kimora Lee Simmons gave birth to son Wolfe Lee Leissner this week. The father is her husband, businessman Tim Leissner. This is Simmons fourth child. She also has children with ex-husbands Russell Simmons and Djimon Hounsou.

Jeff Daniels helps the Ark celebrate 50 years

Songwriter and Emmy-winning actor Jeff Daniels will perform at a benefit for Ann Arbor music venue the Ark on June 14. The folky concert hall celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Tickets for An Evening with Jeff Daniels, $75-$250, go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. Tickets include a commemorative poster, and the $250 gold circle ticket holders will receive one signed by Daniels. ■Detroiter Kevin Lepine, who works in Las Vegas as a comedic hypnotist, was named “Best Hypnosis Show” by the Las Vegas Review Journal readers poll. He returns home to perform at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak June 1.
