Grapevine: ‘Real Housewife’ is really sick, husband says; Miss Colombia dissed again
‘Real Housewife’ Foster is really sick, husband says
Music producer David Foster, 66, hit back at claims that he thought his estranged wife, Yolanda Foster, 51, (of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” franchise) was faking her struggle with Lyme disease. Yolanda’s trials and tribulations (and shelves groaning with prescription drugs) have been documented on the reality show, and some thought her husband might have tired of the drama. The Grammy-winning producer told Daily Mail Online that most of the stories about their marriage were “inaccurate or baseless,” and that the marriage was a loving one. “It is painful to watch this happen repeatedly — especially while trying to cope with the personal nature of the challenges surrounding the breakup of our loving marriage.” The Fosters had been married since 2011.
Harveygate: The latest
Perez Hilton, one of the Miss Universe judges, charged on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday that Miss Colombia, who was briefly crowned, then de-crowned Sunday after host Steve Harvey blurted out the wrong winner, didn’t deserve to be Miss Universe and needs to stop talking and have a seat. “As a judge, and I’m looking at everything that happened, I see her (Miss Colombia) posting on Instagram that she’s the true winner,” Hilton, 37, said. “There’s a reason — many reasons — that she didn’t win.”
“I don’t know if the people at home could see this, but Miss Colombia was being a straight-up diva ... (She was) rude to her translator. She was giving the most awful side-eye, throwing major shade … Miss Colombia was not happy with the pace or the way that the translator was translating. She came across not just to me, but several of the other judges, as bitchy and arrogant.”
After suffering the slings and arrows of outrageous memes online yesterday, Harvey has a chance to redeem himself — in Belize. The South American country’s tourist board invited Harvey to host their beauty pageant Aug. 6-9, after seeing how smoothly he recovered from the live snafu during Sunday’s broadcast. The Belize tourist board tweeted Tuesday: “Dear @IAMSteveHarvey, we all make mistakes. You handled yours with class. Would you host our next pageant?”
Hugh Grant a father again
After dodging marriage and fatherhood for decades, Hugh Grant, 55, has been making up for lost time, as a dad, anyway. The British actor’s Swedish girlfriend, Anna Eberstein, 37, gave birth to a baby girl, his fourth child, Wednesday, according to the Swedish newspaper Sundsvall Tinding. Eberstein also is mother to Grant’s second child, John, 3. Grant’s two other children — Tabitha, 4, and Felix, 2 — were with actress Tinglan Hong.
