Reunited Guns N’ Roses confirmed for Coachella

A reunited Guns N’ Roses has been announced as one of the headliners of the Coachella music festival in Indio, California, this April. Rumors has been swirling that singer Axl Rose would be teaming up with his estranged bandmates, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. The later two confirmed the reunion on Twitter. It’s still not clear who will play drums or if rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin will be involved. The reunited lineup will headline on April 16 and 23 at Coachella. Other headliners include LCD Soundsystem, Calvin Harris, Sia, Rancid, the 1975, Ellie Goulding, Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky, Michgian native Sufjan Stevens and more. Other groups on the bill with Michigan ties include Lord Huron and Matthew Dear.

Jaden Smith appears in Louis Vuitton’s women’s collection ad

Jaden Smith, the 17-year-old son of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, is one of a handful of models who appears in a new advertisement for Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2016 women’s collection. This isn’t the first time young Smith’s fashion choices have made news. The actor has worn dresses in public before, and wore a Batman costume to Kim Kardashian and Kayne West’s wedding.

Detroit business owner is named one of Forbes ‘30 Under 30’

Alexandra Clark, founder of confectionery Bon Bon Bon, was named one of Forbes “30 Under 30” in the Food & Drink category. The 27-year-old has a location in downtown Detroit in the Chrysler House that’s open daily. Her first shop, at 2756 Evaline in Hamtramck, is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays only. Clark, who helmed an Ann Arbor location last year as a pop-up spot, has plans to open another permanent spot in Eastern Market this year. The gourmet chocolates come in flavors like creme brulee, blueberry pancakes, bumpy cake, fruitcake, pecan pie and dozens more.
