Grapevine: Madonna & Guy Ritchie slug it out over child

Madonna and her ex, Ritchie, square off

You’d think when a kid hits 15, his parents would have sorted out the custody issue. Not so with Rocco Ritchie, offspring of Madonna and British-filmmaker Guy Ritchie. A fierce dust-up erupted in December when Rocco, after months on tour with mom, settled in with dad in London — and then refused to come home to mom’s New York pad for Christmas. A Manhattan judge ordered the rebellious teen back, but there’s been no sign of him this side of the Atlantic. Naturally, the Material Girl isn’t taking this lying down. “She is going to fight, fight, fight, and she is going to fight to the end,” People quoted an unnamed friend as saying. Madonna, 57, and Ritchie, 47, divorced in 2008.

Romantics coming, too

New Wave greats The Romantics will return to their hometown June 4 for next summer’s Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix on the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage in the Meijer Fan Zone. The Romantics, from Detroit’s East Side, hit it big in the 1980s with songs like “What I Like About You.” Everyone with Grand Prix tickets for that day will be able to get into the concert. Tickets for the Grand Prix are on sale now. Call (866)-464-PRIX or visit DetroitGP.com.

Who’s ‘Sorry’ now?

Stop the presses: Justin Bieber did something insensitive and idiotic — again. In this case, the 21-year-old heartthrob and perpetual screw-up got booted from Tulum, one of Mexico’s important Mayan archeological sites. Reports differ, however, as to why. Page Six cites an unidentified source from Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History who says the Canadian crooner was given the boot because he tried to climb onto roped-off ruins for a photo-op. But London’s Sun newspaper reports Bieber was drunk and decided it’d be big fun to drop his pants for the photo shoot.

New Kid Cudi Detroit date

New dates have been announced for KidCudi’s ESPECIAL Tour, which hit a roadblock with unexpected production issues and temporarily was put on hold. The Grammy-winning rapper will now appear at Detroit’s Fillmore on Feb. 16. New performances have also been added in Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Charlotte. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, with refunds available at point of purchase.
