Grapevine: Cops bust down door at Lindsay Lohan house
Lindsay Lohan attacked
Bobbies had to kick their way into Hollywood A-lister Lindsay Lohan’s London flat after an apparent break-up with her Russian fiancé. Just before dawn Saturday, Lohan, 30, reportedly screamed from the balcony of her $4.2 million Knightsbridge apartment that Egor Tarabasov, 22, had tried to kill her. London’s Sun newspaper quoted neighbors awoken by din who recalled the “Mean Girls” star and serial-DUI offender shouting, “He just strangled me. He almost killed me. I’m done,” she said, apparently to Tarabasov. “I don’t love you anymore. You tried to kill me.” When police busted down the door 10 minutes later, however, no one was home. No charges were filed, and as of Monday, Lohan appealed to fans to give the couple privacy to work out their “personal matters.”
Kristen Bell shows off wedding photos
Huntington Woods native Kristen Bell finally revealed her wedding photos with actor husband Dax Shepard nearly three years after their courthouse ceremony. The photos were shown during a profile of the “Veronica Mars” and “Frozen” star on CBS’ “Sunday Morning.” They show Bell in a black dress holding hands with Shepard in front of an officiant in what she describes as “a tiny room in the Beverly Hills courthouse.” She says their October 2013 wedding day is “still one of the best days of my life.”
Bieber lookalike’s death accidental
TMZ reports wannabe pop star Toby Sheldon, 35, who altered his face to look more like his hero Justin Bieber, 22, died last August from an accidental overdose of narcotic painkillers and prescription drugs, according to a report issued by the L.A. Coroner’s Office. At the time his body was discovered in a San Ferndando Valley motel, authorities refused to rule out suicide, but now say the death does not appear intentional.
Wendi + Vlad?
Wendi Deng Murdoch, 47-year-old ex-wife of Australian press lord Rupert Murdoch, denies she’s dating Russian strong man Vladimir Putin, 63. “I’ve never met Putin,” Deng Murdoch told Vogue. “But wow, so much press about it. Why did they choose me?” She also categorically denied dating former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, also 63. Deng Murdoch and Blair’s wife Cherie are good friends, she said, adding, “That continues to be the case.” Rupert Murdoch divorced Deng Murdoch in 2013. They have two daughters, Chloe, 13, and Grace, 14.
Frampton extends Palace set
Lynyrd Skynyrd and Peter Frampton were scheduled to play The Palace at Auburn Hills on Thursday, but because Skynyrd founder Gary Rossington, 64, is recovering from heart surgery, the band has briefly suspended touring. What this means is that Framptom, 66, will be able to play an extended set Thursday, which should thrill his fans. “Gary Rossington is a dear friend and an incredible musician,” Frampton said in a statement. “I wish him health and a fast recovery. It’s been a joy performing with Lynyrd Skynyrd and we look forward to getting back on the road with them!” Singer/songwriter Jack Broadbent will open Thursday’s show at 7 p.m. Tickets available from Livenation.com or Palacenet.com.
