Val Kilmer tweeted about Cate Blanchett all weekend
Val Kilmer posted several tweets over the weekend to profess his adoration for fellow actor Cate Blanchett. He started by saying that one time he “flew all the way to Australia just to talk to Cate Blanchett.” “Her husband met me first. Or, instead, I guess, to be accurate,” he added. The next day he mused about the time he did a cameo “just to hang” with Blanchett, and that he was “so dazzled” by how she picked up a shovel for the scene that he forgot his line. When a Twitter user called him out for being creepy, Kilmer responded that there is “nothing in the least creepy about loving someone.” Kilmer and Blanchett were both in the 2003 movie “The Missing.”

Another co-star Kathy Bates had just been introduced on stage and Paulson, who was already on stage with Gooding and others, stood up to clap for her. Gooding grabbed the bottom of Paulson’s dress and lifted it as a joke. Paulson shrieked when she realized what he was doing. Fans on Twitter called Gooding out for it, but so far neither actor has addressed the incident.
