Megyn Kelly fires shots at Jane Fonda on ‘Today’
After Jane Fonda told Variety over the weekend that she would return to MegynKelly’s show even after the host asked Fonda about her plastic surgery, but only “if she comes around and learns her stuff.” “It wasn’t like I was upset,” she said. “I was stunned. It was so inappropriate.” Kelly struck back on “Today,” saying Fonda “has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive.” “This is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of military during the Vietnam War,” Kelly said to muted cheers from the live audience. An NBC staffer later told Fox News that the staff was appalled at Kelly’s comments.

It’s awards season and that includes the annual Golden Raspberry Awards, or the Razzies, which give awards like “Worst Picture” and “Worst Actor.” Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Jamie Dornan, Zac Efron and Mark Wahlberg were nominated for the latter. Katherine Heigel, Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lawrence, Tyler Perry — yes, for “Boo 2!: A Madea Halloween” — and Emma Watson are named for “Worst Actress.” “Worst Picture” nods went to “Baywatch,” “The Emoji Movie,” “Fifty Shades Darker,” “The Mummy” and “Transformers: The Last Knight.” “Winners,” if you can call them that, will be announced March 3.
