‘The Four’ winner feels ‘like a superstar’

Evvie McKinney is on cloud nine after being crowned winner of Fox’s the Four. The 20-year-old was named the champ on Thursday’s season finale of the singing competition, and afterward she opened up to Entertainment Weekly. “I feel like a superstar,” she told the mag. “Time is constantly going by, and I still can’t believe that I won this whole thing, but I feel so blessed.” McKinney, whose late father was a gospel and blues singer, was only on the show for two weeks before winning it all. “I feel like everything happens for a reason,” said McKinney, whose grand prize is a recording contract with Republic Records. “I feel like my father had a lot to do with the reason why I’m on this stage and to win the whole thing is just something I really didn’t expect. But I won and I went in and I left everything on the stage. I really wanted to win, and I think that’s why I won.”

Fergie clarifies Tarantino comments

Fergie is talking about her experience working with Quentin Tarantino on the set of “Planet Terror.” The pop singer starred in Robert Rodriguez’s 2006 film, which was co-directed by Tarantino, and in a recently resurfaced interview from the set of the film, Fergie said Tarantino — under fire in recent weeks for his 2003 comments on Roman Polanski and his treatment of Uma Thurman on the set of “Kill Bill” — bit her while filming a zombie scene. “So I’m doing the scene and he starts biting me,” Fergie said at the time. “Quentin (expletive) bit me. And by the end of this shoot, I will bite him back.” The comment was called into question this week, but Fergie clarified her statement to “Entertainment Tonight.” “That was a long time ago, first of all,” she said. “First off, I just wanna say I stand with victims everywhere, no matter what genre, race, gender, age. I stand with victims, period, and I don’t want to take away from anyone’s story. That just wasn’t my story. We were just kind of having banter.”

‘Celeb Big Brother’: Pour another!

If you’re wondering how much booze the contestants on “Celebrity Big Brother” are allowed to drink, the answer is as much as they want. TMZ reports that the show’s houseguests — which include Omarosa, Mark McGrath, Ross Matthews and more — have a veritable all-you-can-drink buffet at their disposal. Usually the show allows houseguests two bottles of wine and a few six-packs a night, according to TMZ, but this time around producers are hoping the celebs will get a little more loose if they’re liquored up, so they’ve permanently opened up the mini-bar. It’s already working: Omarosa recently spilled her guts about her experiences working with Donald Trump, telling Matthews the situation in the White House is “so bad.” “Celebrity Big Brother” airs on CBS this month.
