Reports: There is a bun in Cardi B’s oven
Is Cardi B pregnant? The rapper’s team’s tongues were wagging in Minneapolis over Super Bowl weekend, as TMZ reports members of her entourage were telling people Ms. B is expecting. Cardi B and her squad reportedly had a VIP section all to themselves at the weekend’s Maxim party, and she was said to be drinking Fiji water rather than booze and was seeking a little peace and quiet amid the chaos of the weekend. For her part, Cardi B has denied the pregnancy rumors, commenting on Instagram, “I’m just getting fat. Let me fat in peace.” Late last year, the “Bodak Yellow” star became engaged to Migos rapper Offset.
‘Fifty Shades’ star talks sex scenes
“Fifty Shades Freed” star Dakota Johnson is opening up about the filming of the sex scenes in the series, and, well, the experience wasn’t always all that sexy. “I had these sort of strapless thongs that had glue on them,” she tells Marie Claire. “It’s not glue, but it’s sticky. They’re, like, basically if it were a nipple pastie, but underwear. But it’s only sticky at the top, it’s not sticky the whole way. It would also come off because the adhesive would wear out, so then they would superglue it to my body so that it wouldn’t fall off. And I would wear two of them. It's not painful, I mean, it’s barely anything. But I guess you have some sense of being covered. It’s (expletive) bizarre.” The lesson: Don’t be so hard on the “Fifty Shades” movies, there was a lot going on behind the scenes that viewers didn’t know about. Ah, who are we kidding. Those movies are terrible!
Hangout with Neal Rubin at the movies
The Detroit News’ Neal Rubin, who says he’s “starting to call myself AdamGraham’s Mini-Me,” will host the Maple Theatre’s monthly Secret Cinema: New Hollywood screening at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Graham, The News’ film critic, has been hosting 90s on Maple — a monthly showing of a movie he has chosen from each year of the 1990s, followed by a discussion. The 1997 selection is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28, with $8 tickets that include a free small popcorn available at themapletheater.com. Rubin, who previously chose 1955’s “To Catch a Thief” for a session of the Maple’s Secret Cinema: Old Hollywood series, returns with a movie from ’67 or beyond. Tickets are $6, and as with Graham’s series, the identity of the movie is hidden until the credits roll. “The only thing I can tell you,” Rubin says, “is that it’s not an Austin Powers movie.”
