Star gets bullet-proof backpacks for her kids

The madness surrounding the country’s epidemic of school slaughters has yielded a new consumer product — the bulletproof backpack. Just ask “Don’t Be Tardy” star Kim Zolciak, 39. She posted Friday that she’d asked her husband, football free agent Kroy Biermann, 32, “what can we do as parents to protect our (four) children everyday in this crazy sad world,” according to Page Six. “He said, ‘Best thing we could do for now is get bullet-proof book bags.’ You know, I just did! It’s better than not having anything at all.” True enough — but what a world.

It’s a car! It’s a baby!

Absurdly good-looking couple Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have named their second child, a daughter, Geo Grace Levine, Page Six reports. Taking a name from a now-vanished line of General Motors small cars (Geo Metro, anyone?) might seem an odd choice, but hey — that’s showbiz, right? The Maroon 5 frontman, 38, and Victoria’s Secret model, 28, already have a 1-year-old named Dusty Rose.

City loves drove Aniston & Theroux apart

If you adore New York City, you can’t stand Los Angeles — and vice-versa, or so the myth goes. But the Jennifer Aniston-Justin Theroux marriage, according to People, may have foundered on just that urban divide. Aniston, 49, “loves her life in Los Angeles,” an unidentified source told the magazine, “and if anything, she has grown more attached to being there.” By contrast, the source continued, Justin, 46, “is not that comfortable or happy in Los Angeles all the time. He loves New York and always has.”
