Blake Griffin spotted with mystery woman

It seems that Detroit Pistons’ Blake Griffin may have moved past his old flame Kendall Jenner. Shortly after People magazine reported that the pair have cooled things off after his move from Los Angeles to Detroit, Greezoo.com published photos of the NBA star with a new woman. The photos reportedly show Griffin and a mystery blonde woman heading into Nobu restaurant in Malibu on Friday.

Jay-Z, Beyoncé announce August Ford Field concert

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are On the Run again, and this time they’re heading to Detroit. The hip-hop super couple will play Ford Field on Aug. 13, promoters announced Monday. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. The concert is part of the pair’s On the Run 2 tour, the follow-up to their 2014 run of shows. The original tour played 19 North American dates, but skipped Detroit. Both Jay-Z and Beyoncé have played Ford Field separately. Jay performed at the Detroit Lions’ home in August 2013 during his co-headlining tour with Justin Timberlake, and Bey played Ford Field on her Formation World Tour in June 2016. The On the Run 2 tour is rumored to be in support of a Jay-Z and Beyoncé joint album, which is said to be due out this summer, though the project has not been confirmed by either artist’s camp.

Rapper Eminem says that the NRA loves ‘guns more than our children’

Eminem had some pointed words for the National Rifle Association during his performance at Sunday’s iHeartRadio Music Awards. The Detroit rapper tacked on a new verse at the front end of “Nowhere Fast,” his joint single with Kehlani. “This whole country is going nuts/ and the NRA is in our way/ they’re responsible for this whole production/ they hold the strings, they control the puppet,” Em rapped. He continued, “Gun owners clutching their loaded weapons/ they love their guns more than our children.” Eminem was introduced to the stage by fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean, who was joined by Alex Moscou, one of the survivors of the recent high school shooting in Parkland, Florida. The iHeartRadio Music Awards were held in Inglewood, California.

Kid Rock bodyslams his way into WWE Hall of Fame

Kid Rock is heading to the Hall of Fame. Not the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — not yet, at least. In the meantime, the Son of Detroit will be inducted into World Wrestling Entertainment’s Hall of Fame at a ceremony next month, WWE announced Monday. The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place April 6 at New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center, two nights prior to this year’s WrestleMania, on April 8 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Rock will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame’s celebrity wing.
