Tristan Thompson caught outside of hotel with Instagram model

Reality star Khloé Kardashian reportedly “went ballistic” when she learned her boyfriend and father of her unborn child, Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson, spent time with Instagram model Lani Blair while traveling to New York City for work. Kardashian, who is due any day to give birth, is said to be hurt after seeing video of Thompson and Blair together outside a hotel. While there is video evidence the two of them together, neither side is confirming a hook-up. TMZ also published surveillance video recorded in October — when Kardashian was three months pregnant — of what looks like Thompson explicitly canoodling with two women in a hookah lounge near Washington, D.C.

Mariah Carey opens up about bipolar disorder

Mariah Carey says she’s no longer living in isolation after seeking treatment for a bipolar disorder. In a People magazine article, Carey, 48, says she didn’t believe it when she was first diagnosed after hospitalization in 2001 for physical and mental breakdown. She’s in therapy and taking medication for bipolar II, which involves periods of depression and hypomania, reports the Associated Press. “I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music.”

Comedy Store owner Mitzi Shore dies

Mitzi Shore, the woman who supported and helped launch the careers of some of world’s most beloved comedians, has died at age 87. Shore, owner of the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, helped Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, David Letterman, Marc Maron, Whitney Cummings and many more. The venue confirmed the death on social media: “Mitzi was an extraordinary woman leader who identified, cultivated and celebrated comedy’s best performers ...” She had four children with ex-husband Sammy Shore, one of which is actor Pauly Shore.

John Sinclair, Don Was at Ann Arbor Blues Fest

The 2018 Ann Arbor Blues Festival, Aug. 17 at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, has announced John Sinclair and the Blues Scholars with special guest Don Was. Both have Ann Arbor ties. Was attended the University of Michigan around the time the festival was born, and Sinclair, a graduate of UM-Flint, had a hand in producing it in the early ’70s.
