Study: Kylie Jenner worth $1M per post

What do you get when you post a picture to Instagram? Probably a few likes from friends, and the satisfaction of sharing a small piece of yourself with others. Kylie Jenner gets a little bit more. A new study finds that Jenner, 20, the youngest member of the Kardashian clan, gets roughly $1 million per social media post, People reports. More specifically, every sponsored Jenner post generates the equivalent of $1 million of traditional ad spending, according to the study by D’Marie Analytics. The firm says Jenner has become “the highest-valued influencer currently on social media today,” a title previously held by Beyoncé. Jenner has more than 154 million followers across her various social media platforms and gains an average of 25,000 new followers a day. So, enjoy that picture you post to Instagram, we’re sure it’s lovely!

GNR detail new ‘Appetite’ box set

Guns N’ Roses have announced a massive 30-year anniversary box set of the band’s landmark album “Appetite for Destruction” — one year after “Appetite’s” 30th anniversary, true to form for a band that never worried much about punctuality. On Friday, the band shared “Shadow of Your Love,” a ripper of an outtake from the “Appetite” sessions, one of 49 unreleased tracks from the set. The box set comes with four CDs and seven 12-inch 180-gram LPs, a 96-page book, lithographs, replica ticket stubs from the era, you name it. The super deluxe box set comes with a hefty $999 price tag, but more economical versions of the keepsake also will be available.

Aguilera talks ‘The Voice’

Christina Aguilera, who next month will release “Liberation,” her first new album since 2012, calls “The Voice” a “churning hamster wheel” in a new interview with Billboard. Aguilera says the show, on which she was a judge from 2011-2016, “became something that I didn’t feel was what I had signed up for in season one,” she says. “You realize it’s not about music. It’s about making good TV moments and massaging a story.” She continues, “I didn’t get into this business to be a television show host and to be given all these (rules). Especially as a female: You can’t wear this, can’t say that. I would find myself on that show desperately trying to express myself through clothing or makeup or hair. It was my only kind of outlet.” “Accelerate,” the Kanye West-produced first single from “Liberation,” is out now.
