Local comedy club owner Mark Ridley remembers 'big-hearted' Bob Saget

The first time Bob Saget performed at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Royal Oak, years before he found fame as America's favorite single dad on "Full House," Ridley remembers how the lanky comic was a natural on stage.

"When you see somebody get three encores in one show, you have a good idea that something good is going to happen to them," said Ridley, recalling Saget's first visit in 1980.
