A new Travel Channel show, "Ghost Brothers: Haunted Houseguests," stars three paranormal hunters who drop into various haunted locales across the country.

The show's series premiere brings the three childhood friends — Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey — to Michigan to explore strange happenings at a historic residence in Vassar, about 100 miles north of Detroit near Frankenmuth.

Known as the "Wedding Cake House," the current owners, Conrad and Jessica Dowe, feel there are both good and bad spirits present and ask the Ghost Brothers for help. Jessica says she was seriously injured when a mirror mysteriously fell and shattered, and she's worried for the safety of their young son.

The home has been on the state's list of registered historic sites since the 1970s and is also known as the Richard C. Burtis House, named after the man who had the residence built in the late 1880s.

The "Ghost Brothers" were also featured on a paranormal show on Destination American channel that ran for two seasons. This new eight-part series debuts with the Michigan episode at 9 p.m. Friday on the Travel Channel.
