Specialty grocery store Plum Market continues to expand, with a second Ann Arbor location opening Nov. 11.

The market, which specializes in organic, natural and local products, will be located in the north campus neighborhood at 3601 Plymouth. This is the fifth Plum Market location and the fourth in Michigan. There’s also one in Chicago.

Besides prepared food made by in-house chefs, the new store will be stocked with Zingerman’s breads, pastries, cheese, candy and coffee. A wine bar will be overseen by Plum Market group’s Master Sommelier Madeline Triffon, the first American woman to be certified as a Master Sommelier.

Craft beer-lovers should seek out the growler-filling station.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 8 a.m. on Nov. 11, and a party for customers will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat., Nov. 14 with samples and a DJ. Select items will also be on sale from 8 a.m. Nov. 11 through Nov. 15.
