Glamorous, confident, poised — fashion designer Tracy Reese, a Detroit native, sat on a stool at BasBlue Wednesday night in front of an audience of about 70 women and men, who came for a fireside chat with the iconic designer whose colorful, patterned dresses have been worn, for more than two decades, by everyone from former first lady Michelle Obama to Sarah Jessica Parker to Mindy Kaling. Members of BasBlue were invited for “An Evening with Tracy Reese moderated by Ali Rose VanOverBeke of Genusee — A Fashion Icon on a Quest.”
