One good tip

A timely tip for tailgaters: Bring a large plastic tub to haul back dirty dishes. Bring items in a large plastic tub. When you are ready to pack up, line the tub with a garbage bag and then put your dirty dishes inside. No fuss, no muss.

Combine 1 1/2 ounces applejack

1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey

1 tablespoon maple syrup

A few dashes of orange bitters

Mix in a cocktail shaker, and shake over ice. Strain into a 6-ounce martini glass, and top with 2 ounces Champagne. Garnish with orange rind, and serve. Makes 1 cocktail.
