A blue stone path leads from Jacqueline McGraw's house to nearby Green Lake in West Bloomfield and McGraw has a name for it: Perennial Path.

It's lined with a beautiful mix of irises, phlox, wild geranium, and peonies, all flanked by two lilac standards.

"There are iron arches at the beginning and end point of the side garden with an urn at the end," said McGraw.

McGraw's photo, "Perennial Path," is this week's winner of the Homestyle Garden Photo Contest. She'll win a free home or garden book and be a finalist to win the grand prize in mid-September, a $200 gift card to English Gardens.
