Garage sale time at East English Village 

East English Village Association (EEV) will hold its annual neighborhood-wide garage sale from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Consisting of 2,200 homes and businesses, EEV is located on the far east-side of Detroit between Harper and Mack and Whittier/Outer Drive and Cadieux.  A map of participating households will be available at 4240 Kensington. Last year’s sale highlighted antiques, pottery, tools, vinyl records, artwork and even some vintage clothing.  While visiting the community, you can see the beautiful homes recognized as part of the EEV Annual Landscape Contest. Enjoy the annual Polish Pottery Sale 

Stop by the 10th annual Polish Pottery Sale that continues at Acorn Farm in Downtown Milford through Sunday. Peruse handmade Polish pottery made by artisans in Boleslawiec, Poland that will be available at a 20 percent discount in a wide variety of shapes, in both Unikat and traditional patterns. Unikat Five pieces will also be included. Each piece is oven, microwave, and dishwasher-safe.
