June & December expands, hosts re-opening party

Adorable nature-inspired home goods store June & December is expanding its Berkley location and will add a range of goods -- some from other artists -- just in time for the holiday season. June & December, run by husband and wife due Nick and Katie Forte, is doubling the size of their store on Coolidge and will soon offer books, candles, teas, crystals and more. Katie Forte says expanding their retail space was always part of their plans and the bigger space will allow them to also bring in visiting artists on a regular basis and do more for events such as Berkley's Ladies Night Out. June & December will celebrate their bigger space with a grand reopening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct. 20th from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be door prizes and complimentary Henna from local artist, Alchemy Henna. June & December is at 2670 Coolidge Highway. Public parking is available behind the store and on Coolidge.
