Fan suffers heart attack at UM-MSU game
A fan suffered a heart attack inside Michigan Stadium at the end of Saturday's Michigan-Michigan State game.
Kevin Irwin, spokesman for Huron Valley Ambulance, said doctors treated the patient on the scene.
“We did have a critical patient at the end of the game,” said Irwin. “It took three minutes for us to get there.”
Diane Brown, from the U-M division of public safety, confirmed the person was taken by ambulance to the University of Michigan Hospital after suffering the heart attack. She did not have any details on the person’s condition.
“We were able to get them into an ambulance right at the gate,” said Brown. “Yes, there were a lot of people, but there wasn’t a delay.”
