MSP: Possible child abduction try in Macomb
Michigan State Police are reporting a "possible" attempted child abduction in Macomb County on Sunday.
According to tweets from the MSP Metro Detroit account, troopers from the Metro North Post responded to the Springbrook Trailer Park in Bruce Township, where a group of children had been playing about 11:15 a.m. by a creek inside the trailer park.
The children told police they saw an SUV-like vehicle pull up to where they were playing with a female driver and male passenger inside.
The children said the male passenger exited the vehicle and approached them, at which time the female driver yelled, "Get her."
The children ran away, police said. They did not get a license plate number but said the vehicle was similar to a minivan or smaller SUV.
The vehicle had stickers on the rear passenger side and driver's side windows believed to be action-adventure series Dragon Ball Z stickers, red and orange in color with a lightning bolt. The children told police they saw the same vehicle on Saturday at six separate times driving through the trailer park.
The couple were described as white and had tattoos on their arms, the children told police. The children said the female driver had short, curly reddish-brown hair and was wearing sun glasses, police said. Both are heavier set.
Anyone with information on the vehicle or its occupants is asked to contact Michigan State Police at (313) 237-2450.
