Police are searching for a 19-year-old Port Huron Township man who allegedly shot his father in the face Sunday before escaping on a bicycle.

St. Clair County Sheriffs Office deputies were called to the 2600 block of Oak Street in Port Huron Township at about 10 a.m. after a called told dispatchers someone had been shot, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

"Further information was received that determined the suspect was the son of the victim and had left the area on a bicycle," the release said. "Tri-Hospital EMS transported the victim to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his face."

Mack Kuefler

Sheriffs identified the suspect as Mack Kuefler, 19, about 6-feet 2 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a black tank top and black pants.

"It is unknown if he is armed at this time," the release said.

Sheriff’s Office officials are asking anyone with information to dial 911.
