Two shot in separate incidents in Detroit


Detroit — A man and a woman were shot in separate incidents in Detroit on Friday evening, according to the Detroit Police Department.
The first incident occurred at about 5 p.m. at the BP gas station at 7 Mile and Wyoming in northwest Detroit. A 25-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman passenger pulled up to a pump in a black Chrysler 300. A male suspect approached the vehicle on foot and got into the back seat. Shortly afterward, the suspect left the back seat of the Chrysler, pulled a gun, and shot the male victim before fleeing on foot.
Police said the victim is in stable condition.
The second shooting occurred on the northeast side of the city, when a suspect gained entry to a home in the 20400 block of Coventry Street through an unlocked front door. The suspect confronted a 24-year-old woman and shot her twice before fleeing on foot.
No information was available on the condition of the victim.
