1 dead, 1 wounded in shooting at Detroit gas station

Detroit — One man is dead and another wounded after they quarreled with a third man at a gas station on the city’s west side early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 12:10 a.m. at a station located in the 18700 block of W. Warren.

It was there that the two victims, ages 19 and 22 respectively, argued with another man who ended the dispute by pulling out a weapon and firing.

Both men were rushed to a local hospital where the 19-year-old died and the 22-year-old remains in temporary serious condition with a wound to the shoulder.

No description of the shooter was available from police.
