One man is dead and two more are injured after a triple shooting on the city's east side.

The incident occurred Friday in the area of Harper and Morang, said Detroit Police Sgt. Cassandra Lewis. Officers were told that four friends were sitting in their car when a vehicle pulled up near the intersection of Duchess and Craft and opened fire on all four men.

The shooting left one 19-year-old man dead, and two men in their 20s in critical condition at a hospital.

Police said the shooter was six feet tall, in his 20s, with a mustache and dark complexion, wearing all dark clothing, and fled at a high rate of speed.
