Man found dead west of Detroit’s Midtown

Detroit — Police are investigating a suspicious death early Friday in an area west of Midtown.

Officers received a call around 6:40 a.m. for a man down at McGraw Avenue and Wabash Street, Officer Jennifer Moreno said. When they arrived, they discovered an unidentified, deceased male victim.

“The cause of death is unknown at this time, but it does not appear to be a natural death,” Moreno said. “Updates will be given as more information becomes available.”
