Detroit police investigate man’s fatal shooting

Detroit police are investigating a fatal shooting Friday night on the city’s west side.
Officers were called to the 14200 block of Crescent after a man was found there about 7:20 p.m. sitting inside a silver Ford Explorer with multiple gunshot wounds, said Sgt. Cassandra Lewis, a spokeswoman for the Detroit Police Department.
The victim, believed to be about 30 years old, was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
A full description of a suspect was not available, Lewis said.
