Detroit — A 43-year-old man was shot early Monday in an apparent carjacking attempt on the city’s east side, police said.
Investigators have no suspects in the 2 a.m. shooting at a Shell gas station at Harper and Cadieux, Sgt. Cassandra Lewis said.
“The victim was at the gas station; he was approached by the suspect, and the suspect fired (at least one) shot,” Lewis said. “The victim received a gunshot wound and was listed in stable condition.”
No further details were immediately available about the incident, which remains under investigation, Lewis said.
