Bodies of man, woman found in car in Detroit

Detroit — The bodies of a man and a womanfound in a car near the Marathon Oil refinery on the city’s southwest side died of drug overdoses, Detroit police said Sunday.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled out foul play in the man and woman’s deaths, said Sgt. Cassandra Lewis, a Detroit police spokeswoman. The pair were originally reported by some media outlets as two women.
“It appears it was a drug overdose,” said Detroit police spokeswoman Sgt. Cassandra Lewis on Sunday. The victims’ names were not released Sunday.
The bodies were found at Patricia and Pleasant around 11:35 a.m. Saturday in a green Lincoln Continental.
