1 dead, 1 wounded after car shot up in Detroit
Detroit — One man is dead and another is in critical condition after the car they were sitting in was riddled with bullets on the city’s west side.
According to Sgt. Cassandra Lewis, the shooting occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the 8900 block of Coyle in an area north of Joy and east of Greenfield.
The deceased was described as a man in his 20s while the wounded victim is a 19-year-old man. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he is clinging to life.
Police found dozens of shell casings in the area where the shooting occurred. At this point, police have no suspects in the incident.
