Marginal risk of severe weather overnight Friday
There is a marginal risk of severe weather overnight Friday throughout southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.
Damaging wind gusts could reach near 60 miles per hour, according to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the Weather Service.
There is a small chance for showers and thunderstorms Fridayevening, with a greater chance after midnight, said Dan Thompson, meteorologist with the weather service in White Lake Township.
The low temperature Friday night is expected to be in the upper 60’s.
Thunderstorms are possible Saturday morning before a cold front leaves the area, according to the weather service.
“There will be a drying trend in the afternoon,” Thompson said. “It’s going to be pretty breezy.”
Friday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 67.
Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72.
Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 67.
Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51.
