Detroit police search for man wanted in shooting

Detroit police are asking for help in finding a man connected to a recent homicide.

According to a news release, the shooting happened Thursday on East Eight Mile near Gratiot.

Police were called to a business about 10:40 a.m. after a report that a 56-year-old man had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to his body.

The male suspect was last seen with the victim before the shooting and is described as having dreadlocks and wearing a black shirt with red accents, black pants and dark colored shoes.
