Detroit police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male wanted for a shooting on the city’s west side.

According to police, around 9 p.m. on Oct. 11, a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were sitting in the woman’s car talking when a man walked up and began firing shots into the car. The victims were hit multiple times.

Police also are seeking to identify the driver of a silver or white Ford Fusion or Ford Focus in connection with the shooting.

The shooter is being described as a 23- to 25-year-old man with a dark complexion and coarse hair.
