Man, 27, fatally shot on Detroit’s east side

Detroit — An argument between two men led to the death of a 27-year-old man who was gunned down on the city’s east side early Monday morning.

According to the Detroit Police Department, the incident occurred at about 2:27 a.m. on the 11400 block of Somerset, in an area between Kelly and Interstate 94 and Moross and Morang.

Police said the victim received more than one wound in the shooting.

Police declined to identify the victim but family have identified him as Antonio Brown.

According to police, the shooter fled the scene in a black Pontiac G6.

Brown was reportedly the father of one child and had a second one on the way.
