Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Detroit will be closed Sunday and Monday, according to Detroit Public Schools.

The closing is due to a water main break in the area. Although the break has been repaired, the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department must still go through the process of ensuring the water feeding into the building meets quality standards, according to a statement released Saturday by Michelle A. Zdrodowski, DPS’ executive director of communications.
