Detroit — Police on Thursday released video of a drive-by shooting that injured a 24-year-old woman late last month.

The woman was shot while sitting inside her vehicle around 2:05 a.m. Dec. 23 in the area of Grandville Avenue near West Eight Mile, police said.

She was transported to a local hospital for treatment to a graze wound and gunshot wound.

The suspect or suspects were inside a dark-blue minivan, believed to be a Dodge Caravan, police said.

In video released by police, the van stopped abruptly beside the victim’s silver-colored car in what appeared to be a residential neighborhood. Several shots were fired out the passenger side window before the van sped away.
