Police looking for suspects in west side larcenies

Detroit Police are looking for a pair of suspects believed to be involved in a string of larcenies on the city’s west side.

The first suspect is described as a black man, about 25 years old and 190 pounds. He was wearing a knit cap and a DK Detroit V Everybody hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan Carhartt boots.

According to police, the latest reported incident was at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 4 at the Mobil gas station in the 18000 block of West McNichols.

While a 35-year-old woman was inside the gas station, the suspects’ vehicle, a black Ford Edge, pulled up next to her car.

In surveillance footage released by police Friday, one of the suspects is seen breaking the victim’s driver side window and removing items.

The Ford Edge had front end damage.
