Help sought to find missing Detroit man, 82
Detroit police are seeking the public’s help to find an 82-year-old man reported missing Wednesday.
Grady Edwards was last seen about 10 a.m. in the 3700 block of Humphrey, where he lives, police said in a statement.
He “voluntarily walked away from the location but has not returned,” authorities said.
Police described him as African-American, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, with gray hair and black eyes. Edwards, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia, also walks slowly and has a hunch in his back, officials said.
He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap with the old English “D”, a blue coat, red shirt and black pants.
Anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call Detroit police at (313) 596-1040 or (313) 596-1616.
