Detroit — Arson investigators are on the case after a west side marijuana dispensary went up in flames Friday morning, said Officer Jennifer Moreno of the Detroit Police Department.

The fire broke out at the Herb N Relief shop on the 24600 block of Grand River, near 7 Mile, at about 4:15 a.m. While there were no injuries or loss of life, there was “evidence that suggests it was arson,” Moreno said.

The building suffered “extensive damage,” Moreno said, but police do not yet know if there was marijuana inside at the time.
