Detroit woman on couch shot through window

A 71-year-old woman was shot while sitting on her living room couch Sunday night, according to police.

She remained hospitalized Monday in stable condition.

The bullet came through her living room window around 9:25 p.m. in the 1200 block of Terry on the city’s west side, Officer Daniel Donakowski said.

The woman was transported to a local hospital. Officials have not released her identity.
