Crew fixes water main break on Detroit’s west side
A crew has repaired a water main break on the city’s west side Friday, according to the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department.
The break was fixed just before 5:30 p.m., 41/2 hours after it was reported on Memorial Street. The break affected about 30 households between Whitlock and Paul avenues, officials said.
Officials said water quality was not affected.
