Suspect charged in Detroit fatal shooting
A suspect has been charged in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man after an argument Friday night on Detroit’s east side.
Jonathan Tillman, who also was wanted on a fugitive felony arrest warrant, has been arraigned on several charges, including open murder and being a parole absconder, Detroit police said.
Investigators identified him as a suspect involved in the shooting incident reported about 10:45 p.m. near Nashville and Strasburg.
Tracked to an apartment complex in the 11000 block of McNichols, Tillman “entered a blue 2009 Ford Escape and was subsequently arrested during a traffic stop,” police said in a statement.
A 21-year-old woman in the vehicle also was arrested in connection to the case, but authorities did not name her or release other information Wednesday.
