4 sought in man’s shooting at Detroit restaurant
In the darkness outside a restaurant on Detroit’s west side one night last month, a hooded man is seen on video stepping from a silver car, firing several gunshots, then just as quickly racing back.
Police are working to to find that person as well as three others they say were involved in a shooting that left one man injured on March 27.
The 23-year-old had been trying to enter an eatery in the 15900 block of West Seven Mile about 1:30 a.m. when the unknown man opened fire outside, investigators said.
Within seconds, he is filmed fleeing the scene in a four-door vehicle. Investigators believe three other males were inside.
The victim was hospital with a non-fatal gunshot wound, authorities said.
To generate tips, the Detroit Police Department has released photos and video of the four suspects and vehicle involved in the shooting.
Anyone with information on the men or the incident is asked to call the 8th Precinct Detective Unit at (313) 596-5851 or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK UP.
