Guns, ammo seized from freeway shooting suspect’s home
Detroit — Police have found more guns and ammunition at the Southfield home of a 64-year-old man involved in a shooting incident that closed the Lodge freeway for several hours.
State Police said Wednesday in a release the items were taken from the man’s house.
They recovered a number of handguns and long guns at the shooting scene.
The man was arrested Tuesday evening after shots were fired on the southbound Lodge. The shooting followed a crash on the freeway.
A person hurt in the crash was being treated at a hospital for a broken arm, broken hip and facial injuries. It initially was reported Tuesday one person had been shot and wounded.
