Emergency response exercise planned at Detroit airport
Detroit — An emergency response exercise is scheduled to be conducted at the Coleman A. Young airport on Detroit’s east side.
Multiple agencies will take part in the training which starts at 9 a.m. Friday.
The city wants the public to be aware that emergency responders at the airport will be taking part in training.
The exercise is designed to evaluate responses to fire suppression, life safety, communications, hazard mitigation, evidence collection and activation of the Emergency Operations Center.
